20 WAYS TO RAISE YOUR VIBRATION

February 22, 2018

The Beach boys were definitely on to something when they were singing about "good vibrations". Why does your personal vibration matter and how does it relate to your health and wellbeing? Well, if you are looking to create a more positive and healthy life, then keep reading.

Raising your vibration basically means getting rid of anything that drains your energy or makes you feel low, such as friends, partners, jobs, TV shows, unhealthy habits etc. It’s important to understand that your vibration is the inner frequency that you hold which aligns you with your outer reality.

Understanding how energy works will help you increase the quality of your life. According to quantum physics, everything in the universe is made of energy. If you took science class at school, you probably remember learning that everything is made up of atoms. These atoms/energy are constantly moving, oscillating and vibrating at different speeds (both fast and slow), and depending on the speed of these atoms, things appear as either a solid, liquid, or gas.

Even though you may not have ever thought about it before, WE are energy moving at a very rapid pace, and that energy has a vibrational frequency. Believe it or not, the personal bio-energetic frequency that your cells emit, affects every aspect of your life. Your vibrational frequency is created by the acumulation of your thoughts, emotions and consciousness and is continually being put out into the universe like radio waves. With the law of attraction (like attracts like), this broadcast then attracts similar experiences, people and opportunities, good or bad. A high vibration attracts more uplifting or positive experiences in life. A low vibration repels these and attracts the opposite.

If you are currently experiencing positive or negative life circumstances, the good news is that you, the creator of your life, can actively change your frequency and nagivate your way to a better life experience at any moment. Learning ways to keep your vibe high, will create a more purposeful, loving and happy life. Learning to identify and eliminate anything that is holding you back or keeping you stagnant (such as your thoughts and beliefs), will lighten your energy and take you to the next chapter of your growth.

Here are some more ways to raise your vibration:

Get out into nature: Take a walk in a park, the bush, the beach in the fresh air. Nature is a natural mood elevator.

Have an energy healing session: Modalities such as Reiki are a great way to rebalance your and release any stagnant energy.

Eat a high vibrational diet: Consuming a diet based on fresh, organic fruits and vegetables is a great idea. Not only do these foods have a high life force energy, they will also provide your body with the nutrients it needs to function properly.

Meditate: Whether its using a mantra, an app, a moving meditation etc, take some time out each day to disconnect from technology and reconnect with yourself.

Smudge: Smudging yourself (your energetic field/aura) and your environment with sage will help to clear any negative energy. See previous blog post on this!

Spend time with positive people: Because who doesn't feel good after being around high energy people?

Practise gratitude: Living with an attitude of gratitude puts the positive vibes out to the universe and is coming from a place of "already having".

Use crystals: Clear quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, herkimer diamonds are some great high vibrational crystals to have in your room/office/house/pocket.

Say nothing negative for 24 hours: Do this and watch your life change.

Practise acts of kindness: You never know what people are going through and how one small act can make their day.

Get creative: Paint, draw, dance etc and let the juicy good vibes flow.

Read inspiring books and positive quotes: Because it's good to be reminded of the good things out there. There is so much beauty in the world.

Smile: At the stranger on the bus, the person in the street, the shopkeeper. It releases endorphins. Do it and connect with people.

Listen to music: Pop on tunes you love and make you feel good. Even better search for music with 432Hz, make a play list, pop those headphones on, bliss out and do your body a favour.

Use essential oils: Try lavender, sage, lemongrass, frankincense, myrrh, rose in a diffuser, oil burner, a bath or even make a room spray.

Watch a funny TV show/movie: Have you ever felt bad after watching a comedy?

Exercise:  Move your body and get your blood pumping to get your energy flowing.

Do breath work: Relax your nervous system with some deep diaphragmatic breathing.

Laugh: Need I say more?

Spend time in the sunshine: Natural light is filled with tons of energy. Try to get at least 15 minutes a day.

Try it and let me know how you go!
